Day at the Park

Okay so I took them to the park awhile ago. I'm playing catch-up now that I uploaded the pictures to the computer from my camera.

Ammon spent a lot of time going down this slide. There were other slides, but this slide was his.

Ammon hanging from the Monkey bars. He actually loves doing this and can hold on for a minute or more before asking to be let down.

This is Ethan's slide of choice. It's pretty high and steep so it goes fast and Ethan loves fast!

Ammon loves to play in whatever the park decided to use as the filler for around the play area. If it's sand he's in the sand digging, in this case it's bark. Usually he buries his trains, but this time he'd left them at home so he's buried one of the little steps.

These next three prove that Ethan can in fact do the Monkey Bars by himself. It took quite a bit of coaxing, but once I promised I'd take pictures of him doing it he gave it a go.

I don't know why but in this one I think he looks just like me. Maybe it's the expression on his face, but I could swear there's a picture of me somewhere at this age with a look like that.

After this one he fell off, BUT as you can see he DID IT! He was sad he'd fallen, but proud he'd made it part way.
