News from the front

Well, you heard it here first. Eric is 99.99% sure to get a job at the Shane Co. You know selling jewelery and to top it off he'll be getting paid $35,000 a year. Now for some of you, you might be thinking that's not a big deal. For us it is! It's been two years, that's right two years of $25,000 or less. To put it mildly it's been hard. It's amazing how creative you can be when you have to be.

I'm really proud of him. He's been working at Dillards for $13 an hour (that's still better than what he was making in Kansas) and looking for something better all the while and now he's found it. We're really excited because it means a little breathing room. Not much though. We're going to try really hard to save enough to get into a modular home in a year with the help of my brother Nathan (he lives with us and will get the modular home when we get a house someday).

We also feel very strongly that it's time for another baby. This time I want a midwife and to have the baby at home and most insurances don't cover that. More and more are starting too because it cheaper by far than an OB and a Hospital and more women would do it I think if insurance covered it, that and if more women knew about their options.

Anyway yippie for us!
