A Day in The Life...

From the 24th thru the 26th we had the Romney Family Reunion. The 24th was of course Pioneer Day here in Utah in celebration of the day the Saints came into the Valley. There's a big parade every year that's apparently a big for people here in Utah, we saw many people had spent the night. We met up with some of the family at 8am, they had been there since 4am! We had scones and waited for the parade to start while we got caught up with everyone. Ethan and Ammon had never seen a parade they were mesmerized by it all. I think the best part for me was getting to see Thomas S. Monson our Prophet.

After than we went home for awhile to nap and then we went to Eric's grandma's for Dinner. We pretty much saw the same people from the parade plus a few and the kids got to play some more. It was fun.

On the 25th we went to Roslyn's house(I'm not sure how we're related, but we are) and had fun all day playing in the backyard. They had set up some small kiddie pools and a slip and slide. We had fun pushing the kids down the slip and slide and of course there were water fights. Eric, Ethan, and Ammon were very wet by the end of it. It was a fun, but long day.

On the 26th we met up at a park area for a BBQ and to talk and say good bye to everyone. We arrived late because Eric started down the path of having a cold on Tuesday and of course running around and getting wet on Friday made it all worse so we rested most of day. Then the day and Family Reunion ended. It was tiring, but fun.

I'm doing well, I'm now 5 weeks along and I'm not sick yet. I'm glad for that. I was working outside today pulling weeds and I got lightheaded a few times, so I need to make sure I'm drinking enough water and watch my time outside. I'm noticing that I'm peeing more often and my breasts are starting to get tender too, but other than that I feel great! Other than I think I might be getting Eric's cold.

Ethan has it right now and he's been whining and lethargic for the last two days. The lethargic I don't mind the whining I'm not fond of. I hope Ammon doesn't get it or that if he does he gets it with me so we can lay around together. Though I was hoping to get the house cleaned before Bonnie and Clive get home.
